Lida Consuelo Aranzazu Caicedo – Reference “Social”
Lida’s a psychologist. She holds a master’s degree in Community Psychology from the National Autonomous and Distance University (UNAD) and is human development coordinator of the Autonomous University Corporation of Nariño (AUNAR).
She is a driver of the development of environmental projects in which human beings must always take precedence in their integrality. It considers the family as the central focus of the development of production processes at the rural level. It is involved in projects that respect the work of women in the rural context, the focus of green growth in the framework of sustainable development. These projects also act for the care of the environment through mitigation and adaptation actions.
Lida is a very active woman who publishes books and articles on education as a tool to plant peace among the new generations. She carried out a research project on the training in agroforestry and climate change of producers, young Afro-African and indigenous farmers victims of the conflict on the peaceful Coast of Nariñense. She is the leader of several networks such as the MiA network (Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Network), the SilvoPaz Network (Nariño Silvopastorle Estate Network) and the DOLAC Network (Network of Teachers of Latin America and the Caribbean).
