During the process of COP16, the Custodians of Biodiversity initiative arises, which calls for collaboration, learning and action in the preservation of Andean ecosystems in the Paraguas-Munchique/Montane Forests of Southern Antioquia and Awá-Cotacachi-Illinizas corridors in Colombia, areas that are home to important Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA).
Since, Impulso Verde foundation has participated in the protection of the Key Biodiversity Area near the Farallones de Cali, reaffirming its commitment to the care of ecosystems and the promotion of territorial governance with a gender approach.
Within the framework of COP16, Impulso Verde has joined various initiatives and activities to reaffirm its commitment to the conservation and protection of biodiversity globally. This biennial event, which brings together delegations from around the world, will focus on the search for solutions to halt biodiversity loss.
In this edition, Impulso Verde will participate in various activities and events, promoting actions and projects aimed at improving the relationship between humans and ecosystems. It will participate in the COP16 Green Zone and in other activities with strategic allies such as the Pergola Clandestina, where the concert of plants will take place, as well as recreational and pedagogical activities in other scenarios of the city.
Impulso Verde is consolidating its position as a strategic ally in the sustainable development of Valle del Cauca and Nariño.
