
Camilo Bohórquez – Agricultural engineer
Agronomist graduated from the National University of Colombia, Palmira campus, with extensive experience in crops such as plantains, bananas and vegetables with an emphasis on organic production.
He has worked in the private sector with non-governmental organizations and in the public sector in the preparation, execution and monitoring of projects aimed at the peasant population, rural women’s groups.
On the other hand, it has specialized in the construction of structures adapted to climate change in bamboo and light materials for the production of vegetables and fruits in mountain areas.
With the Impulso Verde Foundation, he coordinates the “Participatory ecological rehabilitation in the Farallones de Cali” project that seeks to make the transition to organic crops to achieve a healthy diet for the population settled in the protection zone and empower rural women through of agricultural production.
