Ingrid is a geobiologist and historian, graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium). She is based in Cali where she has worked as a teacher and now as a project coordinator in Latin America for the diplomatic organization HD (Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue).

She has lived in different political and cultural contexts working for NGOs, including the International Committee of the Red Cross. She has accompanied communities affected by conflict and negotiated with armed and governmental actors for the respect of international humanitarian law.
