
Sara Mora – Technical Support
Geographer graduated from the University of Nariño, specializing in environmental management and land-use planning. She was part of the second cohort of USAID Colombia’s Young Professionals Luis Fernando Arias Arias program.
She is interested in conserving strategic high-mountain ecosystems and working with indigenous communities. She has participated as a facilitator in environmental awareness workshops in Nariño under Impulso Verde’s “Mis Amigos los Árboles” program and recently supported the design and implementation of a participatory mapping project in Cumbal and Guachucal, where local communities, social organizations, and environmental authorities collaborate in territorial planning processes.
She currently supports methodological and technical processes for territorial characterization in community restoration projects and agroecological and shagra systems.
