The present training kit, for the establishment and management of a silvopastoral system in the high-andean zone, has been developed by the Fundación Impulso Verde Kuaspue within the framework of a pilot project co-financed by the Instituto de Crecimiento Global Verde (GGGI) and carried out within the scope of the Sustainable Livestock Board of Nariño in 2021 and 2022.
It was prepared in conjunction with Professor Arturo Galvez of the University of Nariño and Gonzalo Cardona, representative of Agronomists and Veterinarians without Borders in Nariño, including didactic material from Agrosavia.
The objective of this training kit is to train livestock farmers in good sustainable livestock practices through 5 modules, including technical visits to established farms.
