In 2022, the festival toured the cities of Colombia and Peru with a rich program of workshop, conferences, concerts, open-air cinema, cultural actions and conversation spaces.
In its ninth edition for Colombia and second for Peru, the Súmate al Bosque festival focused on promoting sustainable consumption habits and non-timber forest products as a strategy for forest conservation and well-being.

Created by the association Envol Vert in 2014 and organized from 2021 onwards in partnership with Impulso Verde, the Festival has been held in cities such as Bogota, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Cali and Medellin; and in 2021, Envol Vert Peru held the first version in its country: the ColomBIOdiversidad Festival was renamed the Súmate al Bosque Festival.
Its objective is to raise awareness of the importance of biodiversity and environmental protection in Colombia.
The ninth edition of the Súmate al bosque festival was held for the first time in Ipiales, department of Nariño, and for the second time in the city of Cali under the slogan “Explore your connection with the forest”.
