Pierre Dachy – Reforestation Coordinator
Pierre has a bachelor’s degree in bio-engineering from the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium and a Master’s degree in forest and natural area management with an option in tropical forestry from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in Spain and the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium.
He has worked on educational projects with the Ministry of Labor and the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI) to support the population that is victims of the country’s armed conflict in the department of Amazonas in Colombia and on home garden projects in the Palmarí Nature Reserve in Brazil.
He is in charge of coordinating the reforestation program of the Fundación Impulso Verde Kuaspue in the Pasto region and in the implementation of silvopastoral systems to generate more sustainable livestock.
