Agroforestry Engineer with a master’s and Ph.D. in Forest Sciences, and more than 10 years of experience in ecological restoration processes. Her career has been mainly developed in Brazil’s Atlantic Forest, where she strengthened her academic and research skills in the forestry field.

In the department of Nariño, she has worked in both the public and private sectors, performing roles in teaching, research, and specialized consulting. She has led and implemented productive, environmental, and land-use planning projects, integrating her technical training with a territorial and community vision.
